Social cohesion survey in Médenine

This synthesis report analyzes the statistical results of a survey on social cohesion conducted in the Médenine Governorate (Southern-Eastern Tunisia). Based on a methodology designed by UNDP Bureau for the Arab States, it measures both vertical and horizontal dimensions of social cohesion. Key findings show that the main pressures on social cohesion relate to a low level of trust in public institutions as well as high perceptions of corruption and injustice, which calls for a prioritization of interventions and policies that would address governance grievances among the inhabitants of the region.
